Restoring Balance Through Ayurvedic Touch

Ayurvedic treatments offer more than physical relief - they are a therapeutic extension of the consultation process, designed to rebalance the doshas, support detoxification, and restore the body’s natural flow of energy. Drawing on centuries-old techniques, these treatments work in harmony with your constitution (prakriti) and current state of imbalance (vikriti). Warm herbal oils, rhythmic massage strokes, and the stimulation of marma points (vital energy centres) are used not only to soothe muscle tension, but also to calm the nervous system, nourish the tissues, and promote emotional clarity. While modern massage often focuses purely on the physical body, Ayurvedic bodywork addresses the subtle layers of being - physical, mental, emotional, and energetic - creating space for deep healing and reconnection with the self. Each treatment is carefully selected and adapted to your unique needs, supporting your journey toward balance, vitality, and inner stillness.

Chakra Alignment Healing Session

Balancing Energy Centres

During a session, we'll begin by discussing your health concerns and other life aspects that may be affecting your well-being. This approach is based on the principle that the body is a 'mirror' of your consciousness, and physical issues can reflect deeper, underlying tensions.

I will then use energetic techniques to help release these tensions. This involves assessing and clearing your seven chakras, which are the body's main energy centres. The goal is to restore balance to your energetic field, which can be done by sending healing energy or working with specific 'thought forms.'

Ultimately, this session is about empowering you to actively participate in your own healing journey. By bringing harmony to areas of your life that have been causing stress, we can work towards releasing the connected physical symptoms and restoring a sense of wholeness.

This healing modality is based on the Body Mirror System created by Martin Brofman.

The session can take up to an hour.

This treatment is currently offered on a limited basis while I arrange a dedicated consultation space.

For clients located locally, sessions may be available as a home visit following a short introductory call.

Ayurvedic Full Body Massage with Pinda Sweda

Abhyanga – The Art of Ayurvedic Massage
Abhyanga is a deeply nourishing massage that uses generous amounts of warm, herb-infused oils applied with long, flowing strokes. This ancient technique soothes tired muscles, melts away tension, and encourages the gentle release of toxins through lymphatic drainage. The full-body treatment (including back, shoulders, neck, legs, abdomen, and head) works to restore harmony between body and mind. Gentle stimulation of marma points - the vital energy gateways - helps to dissolve blockages and rebalance your inner flow of energy.

Pinda Sweda – Herbal Poultice Steam Therapy
Following the massage, warm herbal pouches (pinda sweda) are applied to the body. The heat opens the pores, allowing the medicinal herbs to penetrate deeply, while the rhythmic pressing encourages circulation, softens tissues, and enhances the detoxifying effect. This combination of heat and healing botanicals promotes profound muscle relaxation, soothes the nervous system, and leaves you feeling light, refreshed, and deeply restored.

Abhyanga – Restorative Ayurvedic Massage
This traditional full-body massage uses warm, herb-infused oils and long, flowing strokes to deeply relax muscles, ease stiffness, and encourage the release of toxins through gentle lymphatic drainage. The treatment covers back, shoulders, neck, legs, abdomen, and head, offering complete nourishment for body and mind.

Marma Therapy – Awakening Vital Energy
Marma points are subtle energy gateways that connect the physical body with the mind and spirit. Gentle yet purposeful stimulation of these points helps to clear blockages, restore energy flow, and support emotional balance. This combination of soothing touch and energy work leaves you feeling grounded, calm, and revitalised - a true reset for the whole system.

Targeted Ayurvedic Massage

Melt away tension where it’s needed most. This targeted Ayurvedic massage focuses on the shoulders, neck, and head - areas that often hold the weight of stress, posture, and daily demands.

Warm, herbal oils are massaged in with flowing, rhythmic strokes to release stiffness, ease muscle fatigue, and improve circulation.

Gentle stimulation of marma points in the head, face, and neck helps to clear energy pathways, calm the mind, and support mental clarity. The treatment can also help to relieve headaches, jaw tension, and eye strain, leaving you feeling lighter, refreshed, and deeply relaxed.
